A pop-culture figure rises to the pinnacle of political power, mesmerizing and changing the United States’s storied history in a way not many have—sound familiar? Instead of today’s political climate, distinguished political columnist Max Boot takes us inside the life of Ronald Reagan in Reagan: His Life and Legend. Interviews of over one hundred people closest to Reagan allow Boot to paint an astute portrait of Reagan, humanizing and contextualizing the former president—allowing us to observe but not judge both his worth and his faults. Joined by Pete Peterson, Dean of the School of Public Policy at Pepperdine University, Boot will help us peek inside the mind of our 40th president and shine a light on the legacy and lessons Reagan left behind.

As with all Global Conference public sessions, registration is not required to attend an Author Talk, but seating is limited. Seats will be open to the first 50 attendees. We recommend Conference attendees add any Author Talks of interest to your agenda. If you cannot attend the Author Talk or are solely interested in the book signing portion, we encourage you to come to the Global Conference on-site bookstore managed by Barnes & Noble for the final 20 minutes of the scheduled hour.
