Private foundations are playing an increasingly important role in efforts to develop therapeutic interventions for a variety of diseases. These organizations are uniquely positioned to help overcome many of the risks inherent in therapeutic development and can rely on one or more models to help guide drugs, devices, or other therapeutic interventions through the development pipeline. Panelists will focus on peer-to-peer learning and cover the resources that are available to private funders in their goal of advancing therapeutic development.
